Buying a car in Singapore is a complicated process due to the way tax structures work. Being able to determine the cars depreciation is the way to determine if you are paying the right price for a new ride.

The Pro version also computes scrap value and loan redemption values based on the Rule of 78*. Loan redemption is particularly useful to determine how much you still owe the bank if you have an existing vehicle -- simply back-enter your old vehicle into Carculator, including the loan you have taken.

* Rule of 78 calculation includes a 20% penalty applied by most banks in Singapore.
